Ellen has trained all over the world with teachers such as Baron Baptiste, Gurmuk Kaur Khalsa, Bikram Choudery, Kathy Van Patten, Debbie Rocker and Shiva Rea. She holds several certifications for Yoga including those with Baptiste Power L1-L3, Bikram, Kripalu, and Prenatal Yoga with Janice Clarfield. She is currently in love with CrossFit and is a Crossfit Level I trainer. She is an NASM and ACE certified Personal Trainer, Exercise & Fitness Nutrition Specialist, Spinning and Comprehensively trained Power Pilates instructor. She has completed the Gyrotonic Foundation I Teacher Training and is a trained whole foods chef, having studied with AnneMarie Colbin at the Natural Gourmet Institute in NYC and is also a graduate of Matthew Kenney’s Raw Culinary School in OKC. She is the author of a vegan, wheat-free dessert cookbook titled Simple Treats and owns Burning Heart Hot Yoga Pilates & Indoor Cycling in Greenfield Ma. She lives with her small menagerie of animals, including her two rescue Pit Bulls; Ginger and Izabel, and her two cockatoos; Rosie and Goldie.
